Rene lives in rural southern Nevada, where she and her husband, Ron, of blessed memory, established a nonprofit, Safe Haven International Network, which continues support the poor, widows, orphans, and local indigent pastors around the world.
Before moving to the desert in 2017 for ministry, Ron and Rene served in various capacities at a Messianic Jewish Synagogue in Southern California for 26 years. Rene currently attends a local church and leads a Friday evening fellowship (chavurah), teaching about Israel and the Jewish connections to the New Testament.
Along with the international work, Safe Haven operates two local programs; Safe Haven Fellowship, a Messianic Bible Study on Friday evenings, and Safe Haven Oasis a home and property for healing and to offer a Safe Haven to those in need.
Rene holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministries from San Diego Christian College and a Master’s Degree in Messianic Jewish Theology from The Kings University.
Why we do what we do
We have been blessed abundantly as we have blessed Israel. After our marriage was restored, we gave back by supporting those in need in Israel and beyond. That’s why we started our 501(c)3, Safe Haven International Network. That’s also why Rene has published books on the Jewish holidays for Christian children, so the youngest among us will be blessed! See the BOOKS page on this site for more information.
RON AND RENE
